Whole peeled San Marzano tomatoes from Rega, grown in the volcanic soil around Mount Vesuvius under DOP protection, and considered by most Italian cooks to be the gold standard for a proper tomato sauce. Sweeter and less watery than a standard tin, with fewer seeds and a thicker flesh.
